Little bites of Xaml #3: Avoiding stringly-typing and creating named VisualStates at runtime

The two things I bring up this time are already in my UWP Library: Groves.Avoiding stringly-typing property paths ¶ Sadly there isn’t a built in way to create a PropertyPath without using strings. I managed to solved this issue with a little Expression magic: ¶ Using this method like this ¶ will yield the result we want: “(ColumnDefinition.Width)”. ¶ Creating named VisualStates at runtime ¶ Again something missing for no apparent reason: there isn’t a VisualState constructor that takes a name, and the Name property on it is read-only.
